I took some photos of this guy today.  He has a three forked crown between his regular antlers.

Oak Creek Feed Station.  I finally made the pilgrimage this year and can't believe I haven't gone before.

I got the photo off a post called Oak Creek on page 3.  Says it was from last year.  I hope we get to see this unique elk through the years.

If I remember right, that elk is from Colorado...?  Man, that's a long way to go just to visit a Washington cow... :dunno:  She must have been something else.. :chuckle:

Glad I finally made it to a computer where I can see the pic.  Some really weird reoccurring genetics there.  No G5 on his right side (both years) and no G2 on the side with the unicorn/bi-corn point...  must have been one screwed up chromosome...

I know exactly nothing about how horns are scored.  How would that guy score with the additional antler?  Would it make a big difference?  Any difference?

To bad he won't let you get it scored.. I have a friend that is a state measure.. I would like to see how they score that middle tine a plus or a minus.. JAMNG
