not the greatest shots
-
Not the clearest unfortunatly . . .never had a chance to get pictures of these lil guys
-
and the last ones I will post
-
cool pics! where did you find em' at?
-
Actually I saw them on Hwy 97 . . .about two miles north of the bridge at chelan falls
-
I did not need to see those pics, a bighorn tag is the one thing I REALLY WANT and seeing a bunch of big rams like that, makes the waiting even worse!
-
I want to kill a sheep.
-
Nice
-
Sweet pics
-
That's where we have seen them the last 2 trips to Winthrop between the Beebe bridge and the lake chelan intersection. Nice picture's
-
I'm putting my 12 year old daughter thru Hunter Safety this year and the first thing she says to me when I tell her is, "I want to kill a sheep." With her luck she'll probably draw, lol. Those are some nice pics.
-
Great shots!
-
Man there is some toads in that group. nice to see rams of that quality.
-
Nice pics for sure! Thanks. Maybe some of the guys on here that know there sheep could give us a close rough score on a couple of the bigger ones.............. :)
-
Great Pics.
-
yeah that would be cool to know what these guys might score ... i have no clue
-
awesome pictures, thanks for sharing.
-
Awesome. That old boy that's broomed looks like a shooter to me. Oh to draw a sheep tag....
-
I think the biggest rams there are 160 class, very respectable Calis.
-
great pics maybe one of these days i can draw a tag and get one of them. but it will probably be 50 years from now :bash:
-
Very cool. Theres' some shooters in there...
-
I've got 6 points the next time I draw.
-
Does anyone know what the average points are when drawn? I have 9 going into next season. Is manson a good one to apply for?
-
there are so few sheep tags I don;t think points really matter much, more luck than anything in my mind. Lots of guys with lots of sheep points, every year lots of people draw with less than max, any of the units would be good and rams like that could be had in any of them.
-
Well some day Ill get lucky and draw. I hope it is sooner than later. :brew: :brew:
-
Max points for all the OILs doesn't seem to matter. ;)
-
I drew a bull tag for Dayton last year with 5 points but haven't drawn for any thing else. I draw for all 5 in the state. Deer I draw with someone with less points so I think it would be 4 this year. It makes for something to look forward to every spring. I'm actually looking forward to the general season for mule deer this year with the kids and extended family. Just hiking up the mountain every morning and enjoying the sights and seeing what comes along.

Just means you are really unlucky and should drop out of the draws, you won't draw anyway. :chuckle:
-
I put in for the manson unit just because its the closest ones to me. . . .i might not even need to hire a guide :)
-
Thanks for posting, I always appreciate sheep pics from this state. I saw them once on the Colokum above west bar. That was cool. None the size that you posted though.
-

I can tell you one of them nets 174 5/8. The ram I killed is in some of these photos.

Ridge, I just read your post in this thread from Feb. 21. You went from I would really like a sheep tag to "I killed one of those".
I'm gonna post on Feb. 21 of next year and say the same thing.........maybe that will help me get a tag. :chuckle:
-
I caught that to NWBREW, thought it was hilarious when I read the whole thread this morning. I too will be posting on every sheep thread starting in December that I wish that i could draw that tag and hope i become the next "Ridgerunner." Great hunt by the way Ridgerunner and awesome ram.
