After finding the first sheds of the season a day earlier I was all jazzed up to get out there again. Jammer and I tried a new ridge that I'd picked out on Google Earth. When we first stepped out of the rig there there were wolf tracks in the snow. It was just a single wolf cutting across the road.
Right off the bat Jammer found an old three point shed that had been chewed. It was another two hours before we found anything else. Then I spotted a base sticking up down below me. It turned out to be a nice fresh 4 point. No more than 15 minutes later I found another, only 75 yards away, also with the base sticking up! The oddest thing is they're from two different bucks!
About an hour after that I spotted a couple tines coming up through the cedar and pine needles, it was a little three point shed that was half buried.
Overall another great shed hunting day!

Couple more. Last picture shows the country we were in and our sheds, the three on the left were the ones that I found.

Wow, that some good finds on the whitetail sheds, what part of the state did you see the big wolf track?

It's in north Idaho, about an hour north of Moscow, but it's no more than 20 miles from the state line as a crow flies.

Up towards Gold Hill / Laird Park.
Going to take the girlfriend either up there or out to Elk River to check out some new spots I've been eying today. Should be a good day.

Elk river is a decent place to go, I have found some in the past out there!
