I was expecting to get my antlers back on a plaque with the skull plate wrapped in leather. To my surprise, my dad was getting it mounted. The taxidermist (my dad's buddy) agreed it is one of those bucks that has to be put up on the wall. I found a good place for him!
-
Now that is definately a buck to have mounted instead of put on a plaque. One cool looking drop tine! Congrats, it looks awesome.
-
Nice buck! Droptine bucks are awsome
-
once in a lifetime buck
-
Wow, what a unique set of antlers! Nice buck.
-
Dude that is awesome. :yike: A double drop tine black tail. Man you would have to be completely messed up in the head if you didn't think it needed to be done up as a shoulder mount. Congrat's on a truely once in a lifetime, or possibly more then one lifetime, buck. That thing looks great.
-
Those drop tines look almost perfectly symmetrical, awesome buck!
-
Cool looking buck almost looks like the horns are melting.
-
thats an awesome lookin mount man! anybody would be proud to put that blacktail on the wall! ive never even seen a double droptine blacktail, let alone be lucky enough to put him on the wall! braggin rights for years! :chuckle: congrats

What about off the hoof?
-
Very nice mount! Glad you ended up with a shoulder mount! Unique antlers! Two on the wall is better than one!
-

Nice taxidermy work. Who did the mount?

Congrats on a very unique buck! One of the coolest blacktails I've seen. Good work!

A family friend who does the taxidermy on the side. He only does it for family and close friends as a hobby. I am very pleased, he did a great job and am very happy with his work.
