Title: Bobcat rug ( Charlies Taxidermy)
Post by: bucklucky on March 09, 2010, 07:19:19 PM: I almost forgot about posting this guy up. I was looking for some close ups of a life size I did and found these. This was done in mid february. This is the third bobcat rug that I have done and the first closed mouth bobcat rug at that. I think I prefer them with the closed mouth.

This rug is done in house and is all machine and hand sewn for those who want to know.

Why the felt on all the rugs? Seems to me it might look better without the felt showing.

The felt is a dress up thing . It looks way nicer than just a hide hanging on the wall. Legs would look like sticks. Its just a nicer presentation to a furry critter.

Hey Charlie, What clinic does your wife work at. My wife works in Olympia at West Olympia Pet Hospital. I've seen some pretty cool animals over the years. As for the business cards at the clinic. I wouldn't doubt you get business from it. Pet owners can get pretty weird, and hey if it helps pay for that Alaska moose hunt. :chuckle:
