Title: Nikon BDC recticle users
Post by: uplandhunter870 on March 15, 2010, 11:02:40 PM
i just found on Nikon's sight where they have their BDC calculator.  think its really cool that they will tell me where each of the circles and the tops and bottoms of the circles are in regeard to range according to my ammo.

i was wondering how accurate their calculations are.  i know i need to go out and shoot to verify this for myself but its that last week and a half of the quarter so im buried under papers and books.  i ask because a buddy of mine wants me to come to his ranch on saturday to help with his whistling pig problem and wont have the time to conduct a proper long range ballistics study until two weeks from now.

Thanks
Steve

I'm learning it's kinda one of those things that you have to get out and test on each rifle. Since you will not have time to test your gun, I'll be the first to step up and go on your behalf. :chuckle:
