A friend sent me large file of old hunting photos. Thought they might interest some of you. I will post a few at a time as to not take up too much space. Add yours if you have any.

Okay these are the last 2, I promise. Hopefully will be enjoyed by some. None of these have personal meaning to me, but I love looking at old photos. Makes you think how tough some of those SOBs were. No fleece, gortex, hand warmers, optics etc. Just look at some of the rough camp sites. Sweet.
-
Very cool stuff there!
-
I wonder what the smaller hides are?
They look like squirrel tails...
-
Some big critters in those pic's. Pretty cool!
-
Yup, there were some rough old cobs there. I wonder how many of us could keep up with some of those old-timers on a hike... :chuckle:
-
Love pic's like that, I like looking atthe cars, guns and clothes, also hidden stuff in the back ground.
Makes you appreciate what we have nowadays. But i would take a time machine back to then just to have the experience.
-
I love looking at old pictures like those. Make you wonder what it was like and how cool it would be to experience it. I wish I could come up with more of my familys hunting photos.
-
It would be less expensive wearing a suit to hunt in then my Sitka gear. :o
-
Cool pics. Thanks for posting them.
-
i really enjoyed the pictures. thanks!

Those are awesome. My dad told me stories like that from the old days, and looking at those pic's kind of paints a clear picture. Thanks for sharing those. John

That 8th post is crazy. First the rack is gnarly and then there are over 20 deer hanging from the tree branch.
THank you for sharing.
-
Those were great. Could look at old photos like that all day. I love to see the rifles/shotguns used back then..
-
Wonderful pics! I could look at those all day. Out of curiosity, what's the deal with the birds of prey?

I don't know, but I cringed when I saw those photos.
I think the chains on those skinny tires are kinda cool.

Knarly pics...I think those "smaller hides" on the first page are tails.
Thanks for posting. Love old pics like this. My brother has an awesome pic of a lion his wifes grandpa killed in Africa...I would love to post it...but its huge in a frame.
The lion rug sits in my brothers house.
-
Cool old pics.
-
Thanks for sharing!!! Those were pretty cool.
That picture of the muley skull leaned against the wood box blows me away. That thing is a beast!!!
-
I really like these old pics. For some reason, I really gravitate toward anything traditional. Especially old hunting camps!
-
Awesome classics!
-
Cool Thanks for posting just think no camo, gps, radios, cell phones, ATVs, big 4 wheel drive trucks.
-
Great pics thanks, I love how some of these guys hunted in their Sunday go to meetin clothes :chuckle: Mark

I would guess it went more like this:
"Man, this is a helluva buck. I'd better get a picture. Honey, take my picture!"
"Not dressed like that I'm not. Film's expensive. Go get changed."
"Crap! Ok."
-
Luv that stuff, keep'em cumming
-
Great photos, I like the one with the hollowed out log for a hunting camp. :chuckle:
-

More like what those guys smelled like after days or weeks . Doubt there was a hot shower and lavender soap waiting for them at the end of the day . :chuckle:

Love the old pictures. Just think, in 50 years our "old pictures" will all have filters on them. Haha.
The guy holding the turkey..... Anyone know what rifle/shotgun that is?
