Illegal.

I frequently find them out on the property that I hunt, with a coyote hanging from a fence. I grab a 30 round mag for my AR and empty it in his body. Hope they're getting a premium for the fur!

The land owner themselves has some leeway.

what i figured. I know out west in some places its legal. how many varmints are out that way? I will be out near sammamish. so what am i looking at for targest?

I was told that you can use them if you have a trappers license and a permit but only for damage control like coyotes killing livestock on private land. I'm not sure it that is correct or not. I use to snare the crap out of coyotes before the ban came in effect.
