Title: Pintail/Mallard Hybrid
Post by: WCTaxidermy on March 25, 2010, 09:07:19 AM: It has been a year for Hybrids for me. I received 3 of them in this year so far. I just got this one mounted up and is ready to go out the door tomorrow. :( They really are a neat and interesting bird. Thought I would share it with everyone. Hope all is going well and talk with you soon. John

P.S. I also received a very interesting and rare duck in that I will be tackling next month that I will share with everyone. I think you will be surprised as to what species it is.

Maybe let us guess what your next one is. It would be fun to see the responces. ;)

Dude, you are like a little redheaded hermit, always in the shop. Never leaving. I will go over there and shoot a turkey and bring it back and give it to you.

FWIW, I had this question a couple of times as a district bio from game wardens. My advice was to count it in the most liberal manner - as a duck toward the total limit.
