Title: Update on Spring Bear results
Post by: KNOXY on March 25, 2010, 01:49:33 PM: Talked to WDFW today 3/25. The Drawing has been completed, the results are being reviewed by a third party. Notification will be sent out in the mail and results will be posted on line by Friday April 2nd. If any of you have any other information please share, I'm Jones'n to go bear hunting, and I hope I draw for the first time.
Unfortunately what I have found is the guys who want it the worst never draw, and the guys who put in on a whim and could care either way always draw. ;)

Post by: bobcat on March 25, 2010, 02:05:13 PM: I don't think the "back door" is closed. It's just not been updated yet. I'd bet you'll still get results through the back door before you'll be notified by mail, and before they post the official results online.

Post by: bobcat on March 25, 2010, 02:09:44 PM: The results seem to be available now. I haven't checked the back door but the link for the offical results actually gave me a "Not Selected." I just applied for a point. Maybe somebody else can try it and see what happens:

Post by: whacker1 on March 25, 2010, 02:11:17 PM: Did you check the year bobcat? I did the same and it showed 2009 results with 2 points and my 2009 selections. It did not show 2010 with 3 points and slightly different selections.

You're right. Sorry, it was 2009 results I was looking at. :bash:

Must be getting old. I think that I may need to switch to an every other year hunting schedule. lol

Yea, not sure it is as exciting to post not selected. I hope your right, but it looks like you didnt draw so maybe you still have a chance.
