Title: anyone hunt box canyon road?

so i was up in goldendale the other day shed hunting and the way back up we turned on to BOX CANYON road just maybe find some new places to hunt, while up there we saw alot of deer and turkey, can i guy hunt up there or is it all private,?

Used to hunt it alot have a 163" muley mounted on my wall from the vicinity, from what i have heard some mogule out of MT. bought it , i believe it is private

WPT (Western Pacific Timber) bought nearly everything from the top of the pass down...basically all of the old Boise land. They closed their land east of 97, left it open west of 97.

I used to hunt that from the Yakama res line south...last time I tried to get in ALL the roads were gated and locked up.  Took some nice deer and elk out of there once upon a time.
