Took it in the magazine and didn't do so great..  We actually sat around camp last weekend during the youth hunt and I quizzed the other guys and their results were similar to mine.  The thing I didn't like was the answers were from one person not a panel or group of people so some of the answers were their opinions or beliefs, and maybe not always true for everyone??  But good quiz non the less!

Just took it what a joke..Its all someones interpretation of what they feel is the correct answer.  I got 51% right but I felt 10 questions that I got wrong were very iffy.

Do you have to turn in your man-card or turkey tag if you get less than a certain percentage correct ???  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Don't know anything below 51%   :chuckle: :chuckle:..One of the questions dealt with positioning..Circling around  or above if he is above you..I got that wrong..they say you can call turkeys downhill???? I have done that but I have better success having position.

I should ask them to define downhill..In WA that might mean 2000 vertical feet.  Flatlanders piss me off!

I agree..a lot of the hunt senario questions are all based on an indivdual hunt situations.....most of those should've had a D) all the above ???

Did anyone else note two spelling errors in the first paragraph (ches instead of chess and thye're instead of they're)? And the semicolon in the next paragraph should be a colon. Man, what am I doing trying to teach high schoolers English when I could just be the editor for F&S, making more money and being able to hunt and fish all over. Now for the quiz...

Agree - took it in the magazine and found a lot of it VERY subjective.  I was glad to have gotten some of the more obscure questions right.  I scored just above 50% overall.  It was fun anyway and I learned a few things!

49%. Apparently running and gunning shouldn't be used in the early season??? Well I have a lot of pictures of dead gobblers that disagree with that logic. Pretty dumb quiz.

Well I bit the bullet and took the quiz ... 28 of 45 for a bit over 60% ... probably means I'll never get another turkey in my life ....  :bash:

Actually on the "downhill" question they said the tom cut my calling off, so I figured he was hot, horny and coming downhill like a missile ... I set down, shutup and got ready to protect my "virtue" ...

Megan's first bird was a kamikaze downhiller....albeit a Jake.....I never saw a bird run so fast.... If it's a hot bird and you know he's suicidal then why move any farther?????

One of my favorite birds charged down a hill at us.  I'm sure if it wasn't shot it would have jumped on my leg and humped it.  I guess it just depends how hot they are and how far away the hens are.  Al, you will always have a perfect score in my book.
