Title: Montana results are up?

That's what they told me last month.. Results are usually posted around the 15th/16th.. I've had to call home a couple times from Turkey camp to get my results.

"Hi Dave-

The drawing will start today and should be completed within this week; the results will be posted on the website as soon as the drawing is completed. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

They told me that they would help out in setting up the block management contacts for ranches and the such. I already called and got our room booked 2 weeks ago so that should help get started in the right direction.

So I put in for a 4th season mid november Colorado deer tag which I should draw. Could be a busy November. Bad thing is I should have enough points to finally draw a limited entry Utah elk tag this year. Maybe not so bad, just need more vacation.

Do you apply online or via paper? That sounds to me like you either added some folks to your group that didn't have any points or you filled out your application incorrectly. Sorry that didn't work out for you.

The odds of drawing are dependent on the number of bonus points an applicant has, and the average number of bonus points for all applicants. If there were no bonus points or everyone had the same number, the odds of drawing the deer combo would be about 20 percent.

Did you apply for the combo or just a deer or just elk tag?

That's about what it should take. I think last year's stats said that % of Non-res hunters to draw the Deer A combo was 23%.

I am learning so much just reading post in here everytime I get a chance. My group did not get drawn to hunt in Montana again... But we will apply for antelope tag and doe meat hunt. I havent hunted in Montana for 3 years, I am hoping to change that this year.
