I was just talking to a lady I work with today and she said her dad has 150 acres in colville and he has so many turkeys that he tells people if you shoot 1 you have to shoot 6  :chuckle: I guess he has way to many on his land.

hey don't tease people like that...that's not very courteous of you... I agree if he wants them gone then you should give out a phone number or a name...or at least pm it to those who want it  :chuckle:  ...I am assuming that you did what most of us would do and asked how you could help the situation...

I'm going to get it or his address and take a drive might be a good place to put a youth hunt together.

ok so my buddie thought of this today is it illegal to take a live pet hen turkey into the hills with you and use it as a decoy and a caller to call in other turkeys

After 5 big toms were almost in, we got "busted" by a garbage truck.  So I took my rookie friend up on DNR land and called 3 nice toms to 10 yds ... he missed and then shot one, and then watched it rolling down the hill instead of shooting another ... he thought me might lose his 1st I guess.

Buddy with us got a jake opening morning too. Then two buddies each got a tom and a jake in the evening.

Wahoo ...

I am leaving tomorrow and hunt Tue, Wed.  I am pumped, I heard NE WA is slow, I don't care a day in the field beats a day in the office.   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:  Good luck to all that have not shot one or two yet!
