Title: New Turkey hunter
Post by: Walab on April 18, 2010, 09:55:05 AM
Well I went for the first time this weekend with no luck. I went to Liberty and heard a few that chattered for a second then went silent or the rest of the day. I was wondering for a first time Turkey hunter where would be my best chance at a success? Eastern Washington? If so could someone point me in the right direction? I am not talking your honey hole just a general area where public land is that might hold a turkey or two! Thanks in advance!

Goldendale has turkeys, both kinds of 2 legged ones, birds and people,lol... Sorry couldn't resist. I have a picture somewhere of the turkeys I saw last yr. Grayback unit, Soda Springs Rd. area hanging in the fields. Hope that helps a little:)
