Title: Afternoon Hunt - Liberty Lake
Post by: tlbradford on April 19, 2010, 08:32:47 PM: I hit the woods around 1:30 for a quick hunt. Didn't hear anything talking, so I tried unsuccessfully to sneak in on some grouse. They are just starting to drum, but it is pretty infrequent. Anyway here are some photos. I didn't realize one of the two turkeys I saw had a beard until I downloaded the photos. He was a little guy anyway and would have gotten a pass.

Yes, definitely a bearded hen. I shouldn't have called it a "guy" :bash: :chuckle:
