What a great buck!
Anyone have the story behind it and the score?
-
I'm going to guess 178 gross and 173 1/4 net.
-
Kinda seems like you already know the score or soemthign stickslinger? :dunno:
-
Nice looking buck!
-
So is that the 15k buck? If it is thank you and keep spending the money. I could never afford it, but genuinely I do appreciate a person helping out. No sarcasm at all. Nice deer regardless of the price.
-
Great looking buck for sure, congrats to the hunter that tagged it. Thanks for sharing...........................rf
-
You don't have to spend $15'000 to kill a deer like that in Washington. $4500. will work! :chuckle:
-
Those are some nice bucks.
-
Good looking bucks you have there. The governers tag deer is mighty nice as well.
-
Took you long enough.....
Thanks for getting it on here.
Nice bucks outfitter. I'll stick to my $45 if you don't mind :) Though I do appreciate people helping out the local economy and the gov tag holder for supporting our wildlife.

Thanks for getting the pic back on here bigbuckdown, congrats again to the hunter. Your post should focus on the hunters success and not your personnal beef with others on here.

BUy those at an estate sale or some sort of auction for 45 bucks or something? :dunno: :chuckle:
-
The price of an over the counter tag....couldn't actually tell you what one runs these days as I buy the package deal. I do know its cheaper than a couple grand though, until you factor the gas in though. Now that you mention it, buying shed antlers and antlers on ebay would probably be even cheaper. :)
-
Speaking of gov tags....I had an exhibitor booth at the Seattle Sportsmen's Convention this weekend in Bellevue (Washington's Largest Wildlife Fundraiser)
3 Govener tags were auctioned off...I think this is what they ended up selling for.
Westside Elk.......$22,000
Westside Deer....$6500
Moose...............$20,000
If you've never been to this event, check it out next year! It was alot of fun, and the proceeds of the event (which was over $500,000) benefit WA Wildlife, Hunters Rights & the reintroduction of pronghorn antelope in WA State.
-
antelope? interesting. Where do they want to introduce them?
-
Here's a link to check out. If anyone is interested in making contributions or getting behind this program...let me know and I'll get you some more info.

They have had antelope in the Yakima firing center for years but they never took off because of certain military activity.
-
They had some in the Clockum 30 years ago. :o
-
Big buck down...you need to grow up...first grade!
-
Dandy buck.
-
I'll stick to my $45 if you don't mind
Oh please Doug, you eat more than 45 bucks worth of McDonalds on a hunting weekend, let alone all the gas money :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Doug has it made he can stay with Pops. Get a good cooked meal and nice shower afterwards. Besides being right in what used to be prime hunting country. That is unless he decides to siwash it. Can u say spoiled? :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
I know Sky, just flipping him some *censored*. I would hate to have to cook for him on a daily basis :yike:$$$$$$$$$$$$$
-
Me too. Heck yea he would eat you out of house and home!!! :chuckle:

Your right Sky, I was pretty spoiled, especially in that NASTY weather. I hunted 9 days on one tank of gas. Probably some road hutners on here that wish they got that kind of mileage. LOL
