Hey here is a chance to test your scoring ability on a blacktail . I had this one scored so fire away.
-
120 if Dmans goes 110 that thing has to go at least 10" more, if not 15.
-
126 6/8
-
111
-
It might just be my screen, but your zoomed in so close I can't get the width on my screen. I see maybe 1" eyeguards and good mass, maybe equivalent to 5" bases. It's always tough to tell by just a photo, most who guessed at mine were off by at least 4-5 inches. Best uneducated guess is 114.
-
Kinda hard to tell without seeing it on a head mount cant tell how wide it is without the ears. but my guess is 117
-
My guess is 118 4/8.....thats my final answer!!!!
-
It really is hard to judge with nothing else in the photo to use as a reference. I have no clue so I won't even guess. Nice buck though.
-
my guess is 127 :dunno:
-
I'm going to guess 122
Gunner
-
Love the beading on that rack! Hard to tell but my guess is 116.
-
106 gross
-
123 1/8
-
I'll go 123 but its darn hard without some sort of reference.
-
For reference, here is a 117 blacktail. Don't think this one quite get's there, close maybe, but this one's a four point, vs. a three with really not much in the way of eyeguards.
-
120 1/8
-
126 , 5/8
-
127 :dunno:
-
I'll take a shot at 105 hard to reference but I haven't seen to many 3 points hit the 120 mark.
-
Definately hard with no referance but 120 is what I think .
-
115 and again I totally pull these scores out of my :ass: Just ask skyvalhunter! ;) And according to the last contest I would be better off scoring this after I've had a few beer's!
-
123 5/8
-
I can honestly say I don't think I've seen a 3 point blacktail that scored over 120. Not saying it's not possible, I just haven't seen one yet and I would think you'd need to have very long T-1's, as well as the mass and tine length of the other points to get it over 120. I can't remember exactly what Logger's huge 4 pt. went, but it seems like is was just over 120. Palmer's son's record 4 pt. was also 114.
-
This buck looks very symetrical. I am currious to know exactly what kinda deductions it had.
-
Apparently we will never know......
-
Is a T-1 similar to a G-1 or is that a new Dman term ? 8)
-
115

That would be correct, they are extremely similar, one could say almost identical in nature...
-
Ok guys here is the score sheet. People underestimated the score.
-
Nice buck, wouldn't have guessed that score.
-
Yep totally out my :ass: ... Told ya!
-
I was off a mile, guess thats why I'm not a scorer. :dunno:
-
I'm still happy with my guess. Here is why cyber scoring is so hard...... Your score....my guess
inside spread 17 6/8 18
mains 20 6/8 20
21 2/8 20
g1 2 2/8 2 5/8 2 each
g2 14 1/8 12 5/8 12 each(big loss on that one)
g4 8 6/8 8 5/8 6 each (another loss)
h1 5 5 2/8 5 each
h2 4 and 4 5 and 5
h3 3 3/8 3 2 each
h4 3 6/8 3 7/8 3 each
Then I knocked 5 off I believe just for the human factor that always miss judges and for any deductions. Very hard when you don't have size references, and you can see, it doesn't take much off on each measurement in order to really miss the final score. This score sheet I believe. I still don't believe the last non typical we all did. This buck looks like a 130 net deer.
-
Great looking blacktail, I love big three pointers
-
i think that is the biggest main frame 3 point BT i have heard of.
-
That one or Loggers this year. It was huge. I can't recal the numbers for it from the show this weekend, but its something to behold.
-
I meant to say that also, I was wrong, I had remembered Logger's buck was also a 3 pt.
-
I think loggers buck scored 131??
-
I scored loggers buck at 137 if I remember right and that is gross. That buck was very impressive . The pictures of this rack didnt do it justice. Dandy 3 for sure!
-
105 but I guess the fourth point doesn't add as many inches as I though. Nice score.
-
my buck scored 134 1/8 at yakima bucklucky was right on the gross.
