Hey Backwoods, we still gotta hook up and go shoot at CRB together. Lemme know when you'll be down there and I'll meet ya.

yup! been shooting since like the week after all bow hunting was done last year... i just like sling arrows though no matter what time of year. Out here in montana bymyself for awhile so the range will prolly be tired of me by the time i leave :chuckle:

Took mine (mine for now-in the classifieds) out the last couple days. Was shooting out to 40 yards with it and had arrows hitting within 1/2" of each other at 40 yards. I was impressed, but started aiming at different areas so not to damage any arrows.

man i wish i could shoot like that i shoot 3 or 4 times a week in the yard 20 30 and 40 yrds 2in at 20yrds. 4in at 30yrds. and 6in at 40yrds. is about the best i can do but i can do it most everytime and im getting better all the time right now i wouldnt shoot an animal past 40yrds

Not saying I shoot like that all the time, but yesterday... was impressed with myself lol.

Been practicing on nice days to keep up my poundage so I can maybe buy a new bow:) I now need a new target.
-
thats a good way to get one :chuckle: i have tried the i outgrew this one on the wife a few times after about the 5-6 one she does not buy it anymore :chuckle:

Tore my shoulder up, now can't even draw my bow :bash: Have been doing cuff exercises but it is just getting worse. Will probably have to have surgery on it. :yike: Otherwise I would be out shooting every day.
-
that is a bum deal sad to hear it. if you have surgery and can't draw a bow there are still options in a crossbow.

Was down at CRB last Sunday with the kids. Groups were looking pretty good at the flat range, close enough that it makes more sense not to try to shoot groups. Walking around the course and guessing range and elevations... okay. Could use some more work. My sons had a great time. Youngest one doesn't shoot yet, but he found some lost arrows to carry. Might need to boost my oldest son's draw weight, he's getting a bit frustrated when the arrow hits the target in the right spot but bounces off.
"Did you see that one Daddy?"
... "No. Do it again."
