I found a ton of rubs and some good bedding areas but I couldnt find any sheds. I did end up finding a decent 6pt deadhead.
Heres some pics. The first one is of a tree that was tore up from top to bottom. Then the deadhead, and then some pics of a bull I got real close to today. I think hes gonna be a bruiser this year.

sounds like a great day...while I was watching a parade :'( Looks like he will be a real nice bull this year.

Wow, quite a bit of growth on him already! Nice skull too!

Nice pics. Looks like some great hunting country. Keep an eye on that bull. Maybe you can let the air out of him this fall. He's gonna be a wallhanger.

Went out again yesterday and found a nice 6pt shed. It is the match to one that Wackmaster found a few weeks ago. Hes got really good thirds and pretty good fronts. It was a really crap day out there but finding that shed made it worth while.

Good looking shed. And that weather looks like all kinds of fun. :chuckle:

Yeah it was crazy, the wind would blow in a bunch of fog and it would snow for about a half hour at a time then the wind would blow the weather out and it would be nice blue skies for a while. It was pretty much a never ending cycle all day. When we returned to the truck there was about 4 inches of fresh snow on it.

Like you said, thank God for the one shed it makes all the differance. We got a few on sat and it snowed for a while, but nothin like that.

They do in spots where the threat of oger is present. Clearly you were in one of those places. Not sure if you need to pack a pistol for ogers if you are the oger though. :chuckle:
