Title: Went out for a little hike today.(updated new pics)
Post by: buckmaster_wa on May 01, 2010, 07:33:59 PM: I found a ton of rubs and some good bedding areas but I couldnt find any sheds. I did end up finding a decent 6pt deadhead.

Heres some pics. The first one is of a tree that was tore up from top to bottom. Then the deadhead, and then some pics of a bull I got real close to today. I think hes gonna be a bruiser this year.

Post by: buckmaster_wa on May 05, 2010, 04:03:13 PM: Went out again yesterday and found a nice 6pt shed. It is the match to one that Wackmaster found a few weeks ago. Hes got really good thirds and pretty good fronts. It was a really crap day out there but finding that shed made it worth while.

Post by: buckmaster_wa on May 05, 2010, 04:11:14 PM: Yeah it was crazy, the wind would blow in a bunch of fog and it would snow for about a half hour at a time then the wind would blow the weather out and it would be nice blue skies for a while. It was pretty much a never ending cycle all day. When we returned to the truck there was about 4 inches of fresh snow on it.
