Title: Multi season question?
Post by: jrebel on May 20, 2010, 06:50:05 PM
Are they going to do a second multi season draw like in previous years?

No, I don't think so. That was why they drew more applicants than they had permits to issue. And I hear those who were drawn but weren't able to purchase the permit because they were already sold out, still lost their points.

they said no because they over drew everthing, but who knows i heard all the deer tags have been sold so who knows and i am sure it was a rush to get the elk. so i have not seen anything yet. but they said no before the drawing took place but might have been a scare thing to get people to rush and buy the tag :dunno:

WDFW only wanted to to the drawing once because it costs them money each time a new drawing takes place.  And since money is the most important thing to them, they decided to use this method.

Since permit applications are due in one week, and knowing if you have a multi-season permit can determine what you apply for, I think it's safe to assume there will be no more multi-season drawings.
