Anyone have any insight to these, Carbon Express XT 4-Blade. They run a bit cheaper at $25 for 3. Cabela's sells them if you want to check them out.

I tried cabelas brand the first year I hinted. If you like the blades falling out in a block target or the ferrule snapping and shedding blades when it hits a rib then go ahead and buy them. Otherwise spend the extra two bucks and get slick tricks.

yeah for the little extra money buy good heads, a guy doesn't get to many shots and when they happen last thing you wanr ro worry about is you broad head holding up. if you are after pretty cheap heads that are rock soild check out innerloc they sell them per 6 most of the time in most packs a few are 3 per pack but they will hold up great i used some in new zealand last year and they worked very well check them out

Definarely agree with carp. The last thing you want to skimp and save on is the thing doing the killing. IE your broadhead. I would go to cabelas and check out various heads and read through the product reviews. To be honest if you buy a quality head and you do your job by putting it in the boiler room the animal will die. Guys here buy different heads based on preferances. Some like replaceable blades some like to resharpen blades some buy based on. 2 3 or 4 blades. Some like chisel points or cut on contact. Muzzy G5 Slick Trick Magnus Shuttle T etc will all do their job if you do yours

I agree spend the extra money and get a broadhead that has proven it self in the wood

I know they are cheaper, but that does not necessarily correlate to a bad product. Has anyone actually shot them?? With a leading edge and bleeder blades on the back, they look as though they could do some serious damage?

Havnt heard anything about those broadheads. What I would do is peruse this website or go to broadheadtalk.com and look into some broad heads. Then make your decision. 99% of guys LOVE the Slick Trick. However for me they hit 4" low at 20 yds compared to my field point. (Yes my bow has been laser tuned, bare shaft/paper tuned and walk back tuned.) But..... most people say they hit exactly where their field points hit. Some hear a whistle I never did with the Slick Tricks. They flew quiet. It took awhile but I tuned them to my field tips. I am going to test these first on hogs just to see what type of hole they put in an animal. But I WILL NOT.... use these when I go elk hunting in 20??. I've also shot the G5 Striker. They hit 2" low at 20yds. Quickly tuned to hit my field points and even at 40yds will group tight enough to cut fletchings. I have yet to shoot anything with it but have heard they do well. They will be the next broadhead I use to test on hogs. I may very well use thes for elk. I am highly impressed with the G5 Striker.
The other two heads I'd like to try are the Shuttle T-Loc and the Magnus Snuffer SS. I normally wouldn't even give the Magnus a second look but they are THE ONLY company that offers a life time warranty on their heads. So this may be something you'd like to look into. I know that Greg E on here was highly impressed with them.

I have shot them and they suck. The little center blades fall off way too easy and the thin areas on the main head crack. They shoot really straight and I had little variances from my field tips, but after two or three practice shoots they are worthless.

I have shot them and NO they are as good as the F-15.

I'm done trying new broadheads for a while, it gets expensive. Last year I bought several new broadheads to test out after someone told me my Wac'ems were illegal (I now realize they aren't, for those that don't believe me there are already a ton of threads on this topic). I ended up going with the Hell Razors and I like them better than my old Wac'ems anyways.
