has anybody had a cat quiver? i was thinking about getting one. are they easy to access your arrows and do they mess up your fletchings? ive never even handled one but it looks like they would warp your fletchings.

I used the smaller one years ago, there's room for your fleching. I didn't care for it all, I went to a removeable quiver on my bow.

I think they actually protect your fletchings. When you load your arrows you have time to be careful and when you are removing them they come out with the grain of the feather so there is not damage.

I use one with my longbow, and it's pretty awesome. Great way to carry arrows and have the fletching protected. I prefer them to bow quivers myself.

I love my self made back quiver!It is way better than having extra weight of quiver and arrows.

There's a lot of guys that rave about them. It seems as if people either love them or don't find them very intriguing. I saw them and decided what I already had fit me bette. I was not convinced the money would be well spent for me. That said you could probably get a second hand one and try it out.
I've found that even in rought brush and rain the fletching seems to recover well. Even if frayed a considerable amount I don't have to refletch arrows after good abuse but every 3 years.
I use a GFA style quiver that was made from an old Black Widow bow quiver. Then for casual shoots a home made leather quiver on the back.

If you want to make one for cheap,that works well,pm me and I will explain,show a picture of mine!!!It can be made for 10 dollars or so.
