Title: First time bowfishing
Post by: Crowns on June 07, 2010, 09:20:14 PM: Went out bowfishing for the first time. Was a ton of fun. My girl tagged along and she seemed to enjoy it as well. Although she claims them to be the ugliest fish ever. Couldnt have been too bad, she snuggled in on a close up shot with two ugly mugs. We shot 10 or so. Two were right around 25 lbs. Took some getting use to, shooting so low but Im getting ahold of it now. A blast.

Post by: carpsniperg2 on June 09, 2010, 12:55:23 PM: great fish that is a dandy and that type of carp with that scale pattern is called a mirror carp not very common to shoot them maybe 1 in 50 around here a few places have more. way to go
