Has anyone tried the Deer or Bear Sense smoke sticks that they sell at Cabelas and do they sell them anywere for elk? I am curious how well they work or if they really work at all? Also do the Deer smoke stick work all specices of deer or are they meant for White tail?

Several years ago I got some at a great discount, even had the "smoke stack" thing, at Sportco.
I tried them, but all they seemed to do was keep me constantly aware of wind direction, if I would have paid full price for them I would have been pissed. :bash:

My buddy is a scent adict. He swears by them for tree stand hunting. He uses everything he can get his hands on, kills a deer every year. I'm not convinced its the scents, my guess is its all the preseason homework is really what gets the job done.
