Title: 2009 wet side bear (her first)
Post by: oyster on June 09, 2010, 01:13:06 PM: This is my first time posting to this site. Wanted to share my girl's first bear from last year. She is now hooked for life.
She caught this guy on his way to a favorite berry patch we frequent. he was at about 30 yards and dropped in his tracks on the shot.
She was shakin like a leaf in a thunderstorm for a while after!

Bad part is i dont have a rug to compete with it! Good part is i will obviously and naturally have to spend much more time in the woods this year to try to find a bigger one! Hard part is if i go bear hunting, she goes bear hunting! That girl is hell-bent and will stay in the woods longer and later than most anyone i know!
