Title: abandoned robins
Post by: Hillbilly270 on June 13, 2010, 09:26:14 PM: found these robins this weekend. looks like mom and dad gave up on em. :dunno:

Post by: Hillbilly270 on June 14, 2010, 07:12:31 AM: i dont know what happened......this nest was really close to my back deck and since it finally got nice out we were spending time out there and the parents must of got nervous or something. the babies were alive the other day and when i checked the next morning they were dead. :dunno:

Post by: MikeWalking on June 14, 2010, 01:51:04 PM: The parents may have been killed by a car, or a cat etc...I used to find nests like that as a kid and see dead adult robins in the street or chewed up in the yard...
