Each of the last two years we had members who pulled two OIL's in the same year, come on, who's it going to be this year?
-
Member- EnergyRetro Sheep tag Selah Butte
-
I drew Selkirk Mtn Moose. Will try bow first.
-
Hangman A moose tag drawn, first try. Of all the people you know that say they never win anything, I am the KING of that list (up until yesterday that is...). I'm REALLY excited!
I'd appreciate any info anyone may have about this area. I'll be toting my 300WinMag on this hunt.

49DN Moose I'm leaning towards using a Muzzle Loader. A rifle won't be to far away though.
-
That just isn't right, draw on your first try. I applied before I drew in 2008. Congratulations lucky!!!
-
The list is starting to grow.
Hyde, you are a very lucky individual.
-
Where are those knitting needles my eyes are starting to itch...

If I was you I would be tracking down Dan McKinnley, as he might be a good resource

I'm still in a daze over drawing this moose tag. Me,.. lucky? That's the last thing I have ever been. I did actually feel guilty over drawing on my first try.... well for 3 minutes anyway. I got up last night and logged on again at 2am to see if I was dreaming, even took a photo of the results.
I appreciate the well wishes and will certainly welcome any help any of you may lend. Is my 300 win mag/180 Noslers enough... or do I "Need" to buy that new 338 Ruger I have been ogling?
Thanks guys!
Steve

Haha, you can never have too many guns but your 300 Win is just fine.
-
nothing around here can stand up to the 300 win mag and 180 partitions if those are the bullets you are talking about my personal hunting loads good luck. the youth hunter that i hunted with last year took his cow moose with a 300wsm and xp3 bullets, but a guy can never have to many guns. i just bought a ruger 338 the other day

Your 300 win is just fine. My brother killed his moose with his .280 Rem pushing 160gr NAB.

All of you with fathers, brothers, friends, etc, with tags, get them to sign up on here so they can give us first hand updates on their hunts and they can be eligible to win the Hunt-WA Horn Trophy.

I have picture evidence that Mossyheads' Father tagged a bull in the Selkirk. I will not post them, that is for Mossy to do. Young bull, but I will bet it eats every bit as good as mine is.

If you know any of the members listed on the first page who haven't posted a story and pics (the ones in black type), please prod them get it done.

Congrats to all the OIL tag holders. Have a blast and enjoy every minute. Look forward to all the reports.
You can bet that if I ever draw one of those tags I'll be yelling and screaming and the world will get to know it. Then I'll be grovelling for any intel on the areas drawn.
