I am thinking about upgrading from my saber to a Firecat TR2. I am willing to consider bows, but I am inclined to stay with a homegrown company like Martin that is based right here in WA..
Would really like to know what the rest of the board thinks of this bow before I pull the trigger.
info appreciated, thanks!

Just ask haus what he thinks of the martin limbs... I talked. To a guy at the last 3-D shoot I went too. He tried to shoot a martin but gave up after 3 sets of limbs. After hearing all of that I personally will never have a martin in my arsenal.

martin has had some limb problems in the past then a period that did not have many and they have been having a few probs with some of the newer bows. they are a good company and stand behind there stuff and will make it right if you have a problem but i still will not trust them. but i know plenty of people that shoot them and never had a problem they are not for me i had a martin untill about a year ago as one of my many bowfishing bows and it started to scare me a bit and i did not want others shooting it so i got rid of it. but i do think most the time they are good bows

Most of the guys at my elk camp shoot Martins (the factory is right here in our town). I have an Elite that is currently my primary bow, but I still have my 5 year old Martin as my backup bow. Never had a problem with it. I think we have 3 new Moabs in camp and everyone seems to like them a lot.

Hi I bow hunted for eight years with my Martin Magnum Warthog compound bow, and I've never had a problem with it, I put a lot of time in on the practice range with it and its always performed well, even againest some of the high end bows. I would still be hunting with it if I had'nt gotten sick and can't do it anymore, I'm on oxygen 24/7 so can't pound the woods and trails like I used to. I still have the bow complete w/all accesories 2doz arrows and hardside carrying case and I'm wanting to sell it if you know someone who is looking for a great bow adjustable draw length 28-30 55 to 70 lb draw and a good price $300 for everything, e-mail me at edoredm@yahoo.com

Must be a good bow for hunting. It's what Dan Martin is hunting with this year. He can shoot any of them he wants to, and that's what he chose.
