A guy I know and trust is selling a Guardian, lefty (which my bud needs) with just a couple hundred arrows through it, with a quiver, MT Black Gold 7 pin sight, A True Ball Pro Diamond Xtreme rest And a Bodoodle Pro-lite rest, Doinker Stab, 1/2 dozen Carbon Express arrows with blazers, Tru Ball Release And a Hard case that holds the whole outfit.... for $600 Shipped....
Should I steer my buddy into this bow? he's looking for a newer, lefty, nice compound, setup well....are there many better deals out there? I know the bow was $700 new a while back (what, 2 yrs?) and all the accessories are over $400...
Whatchya think?

I think it sounds like a good deal. The sights that are on it are about $150 alone
-
I think you have a good deal there, but i would try to low ball it and see if he will go down on the price, hey it never hurts to be a cheap a**.
-
You may find better but that is a pretty good deal. A guy can still find brand new Guardians for under $400. Even at that though the extras with that bow are worth well over $200.

Does anyone know if this bow is particularly hard to tune or keep tuned?? I dont know jack about these techy bows....and the guy I'm helping look....wants to know the answer to this question! :dunno:
Yeah...i mean... a 1/2 dozen CX's are going to be $60 min... sight in the $125 range, Tru ball release $85, Quiver??? I dont know which kind...lets say $40 even though they dont hardly make them that cheap.... Bodoodle rest $75, Doinker $50, and hard case??? $50 MIN... thats $485... Lets say on sale you get it all for $350!?!?!... and bow for $400....thats $750 Min to get into this setup..... and this bow is setup ready to go and is in mint condition from a trusted seller for $600.... OK... If Jay has the $600...I think I'll push him into it!
Thanks!

I own a 2008 Guardian. Great bow. Easy to tune and very easy to work on. They are very quite and dead in the hand. The Guardian is IMO one of the best compounds made. The center pivot design allows you to do work that on any other bow would require a press. The BT center pivots can be completely disassembled without pressing it.

its a great bow at a very good price

Tell me this... I see some "package bows" like in the cabelas catalog...they are brand new of course, something like a bear or even a diamond...with all the "chit" for like $599... this bow package I described, IF in mint condition like claimed, would whoop on all them....right?

Much higher quality on both bow and especially accessories.
