Just for fun...
Bear hunters, what are you after this year? :hunter:
-
We need another answer in the poll: A bear that is close to the road. :chuckle:
-
a cinnamon with a patch would be a real trophy for me
-
My freezers empty so first legal bear.If a get a chance at a second bear I will be more selective.
-
All of the above
-
I will probably shoot the first one I see again unless there is an unusual amount of sign this year. I like to think I wont shoot a dink again but I'm so greedy I probably will.
-
well im trying to find a blonde I seen once this year..But I passed on one last year and ate the tag..Soooooo Maybe tag a decent anybear then grab a 2nd tag if i get the first one,,
-
First Yogi I see is going down. It will be my first, so will not be picky about color, size, or whatever.

I'll shoot the first one I can sneak real close to. I don't plan on as much bear hunting this year.
-
First legal one I see. But that depends on how my scouting continues through this month, and If I can keep track of one certain bear.
-
Tag #1: I'll take the 1st legal one I see.
Tag #2: I'll try for a trophy.
-
The first big'n I see! :o

I have tagged a few big bears over the years so I am going to hold out for a pighead- Dont really care if I get one, jus like to be out there ;)
-
first legal bear i see is taking a dirt nap!
-
I voted "The first legal one I see". The reason being is I've shot two that squared just over seven foot, one of them had the white patch on his chest. The very first bear I shot was a real pretty cinnamon that squared 6' 6" and I was VERY lucky to be able to shoot a blonde one up in B.C. that squared just over six foot. So now when I bear hunt I just want a decent (5 to 6 foot) bear for the freezer.
-
I voted first legal - but that doesn't include a sow w/cubs. My wife would prefer a solid black rug.
-
I took the first one I saw! ITs meat in the freeze and I am no trophy hunter.

As for being close to the road, she was only 30 yrds from my vehicle. ;D
