I got selected for a late muzzle deer tag this year.
Success!
Well, I guess. Its not a great hunt, and the reason I was probably selected for it was because no one else applied for it. :chuckle:
We'll give it a go, I suppose.

Take it and run with it! :IBCOOL:

Since you are stuck with the tag and you burned your points, if it was my I would at least put a long weekend into it. You never know what might be out there.

What unit? I bet you can make something happen - or, at least, have fun trying.
What makes it a bad unit? Lack of deer? Lack of access? Most late hunts are good.

Sorry guys. I got a little sidetracked and the computer was unavailable to me.
The unit is 578, and the hunt is a little subpar because its a little late on the rut, and its a three point minimum.
That's fine, though. I'll put forward a week into it. I'm still excited.
Oh, and I didn't have any points to burn, it was my first application for deer. :IBCOOL:
