Title: 1 month soak (pic heavy)
Post by: grundy53 on June 28, 2010, 07:02:03 PM
well we put out the camera may 31st and i just pulled the card june 26th. we had 525 pictures! it was hard to narrow down which ones to put on here. unfornutley some of them are of 2 punk kids on a dirt bike and quad tearing up our food plot  :bash: :bash: :bash:. but there are a lot of elk pics too. a bunch of calves :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: and even a few bulls :tung: :tung: :tung:. i'm going to put up a bunch of pics and maybe add some later. enjoy.

Great picture's! Is it public ground? and is your camera locked? If not you may want to get a lock box for it. What did you seed the food plot with.

It's public land. I have a lock box for it now. But I didn't then. We planted red clover and grass. We also dumped a bag of ranchers minerals.

Very cool. I wonder if it is indeed the same bear. It's interesting to see the weight gain from month to month.

this one is on public land. my advice is to get as far away from the road as you can. and find a little clear spot that the animals feel safe in. everything we used you can get a a local feed store.

Got a place down low by a creek.  Has a large water/wallow hole there too.  Problem is, it's pretty shaded.  Big deal?

i think it would be fine as long as there is some sun light that gets through...
