what are you feeding them? great pics thanks

Great picture's! Is it public ground? and is your camera locked? If not you may want to get a lock box for it. What did you seed the food plot with.
-
It's public land. I have a lock box for it now. But I didn't then. We planted red clover and grass. We also dumped a bag of ranchers minerals.
-
I like that pic with the coyote/fawn...too bad, but thats nature for ya. Great capture.
Darn those kids.
-
ya i hate to see a fawn die but it is nature.... and it looks pretty cool too. all the same i think i might go try to thin out the coyote population around there pretty soon. :chuckle:
-
awesome pics !!! it almoist looks like the turds r looking right at the camera
-
grundy, I am almost positive I know the kid on the bike. Kid is a real hood. Lives in the trap crk area.
-
Ya. That's him. He just got arrested the other day. So hopefully he won't be around for awhile...
-
I know one of the county cops got him in front of the new fire hall in Menlo, during school for riding down they highway on that bike.
-
good. he's a little punk. i guess he stole a bunch of money from whoever he lives with and then told the cops there was a burglery. he ended up getting caught.
-
also those are some great pics. There is a kid from out in the valley around the lilly wheaton road that got some pics on his trailcam of a couple of bears doing they wild thing. Haven't seen them yet though, his dad was talking about the pics.

Got any tips on setting up a public land food plot?
-
Very cool. I wonder if it is indeed the same bear. It's interesting to see the weight gain from month to month.
-
DONT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE THE RACOONS EYES! ITS EVIL EVIL!!!!! :P nice pics by the way when you get one down post the pics!

this one is on public land. my advice is to get as far away from the road as you can. and find a little clear spot that the animals feel safe in. everything we used you can get a a local feed store.

-
Did you plant in the spring or last fall?
-
spring. try to find a place down low by a creek.
-
Got a place down low by a creek. Has a large water/wallow hole there too. Problem is, it's pretty shaded. Big deal?

i think it would be fine as long as there is some sun light that gets through...
