Title: 4 stroke VS 2 stroke engines

Most of the better outboard makers are, or have developed two stroke engines that meet or exceed the emission regulations that brought for the the need for four strokes.

Post by: sisu on March 23, 2007, 06:02:41 AM: Thanks for the information. There is a boat and motor combo I'm looking at right now that has a new 4 stroke on a 2 year old boat. The deal is good but still expensive.
The seller is like me very thrifty, and very picky about his gear. The later appeals to me. I know once we set down to buying and selling it'll be like two Swedes at the fish market haggling over the price of lute fisk. ;D

Ya, that smell still gets me thinking of all the salmon fishing I did in Alaska with the family and friends. We'd get the jet fired up and go zooming up or down river for the run. Makes me miss the kids most of all.
