HERE HE IS:
This guy was meant for several threads on here. He started out in the Help FIX it thread in Taxidermy. His ears were thrashed, big holes, the ears had drummed etc. Looked aweful. FROM the beginning this cape was headed to the trash. It sat in my freezer and was SEVERLY freezer burned. The other thread thi guy was headed to was the shed antlers thread.
Idabooner and I were out snowmobiling, and looking for bucks. We made it to the end of the road and turned th machines around. I happened to look over my shoulder and there he stood. Mr. Two Point. This was the end of January. I couldn't make it back up into the Valley for the Spring, so I put Idabooner on task of finding those sheds. He stretched the mules legs a day or two but he didn't come up with them. For the first time in my life Idabooner let me down. I was back up there next spring, and there they were about 50 feet from where we saw the buck both BLEACHED. Yep, thats the next thread this buck was headed for. These antlers are stained. They were bleached white.

Welcome to my hunting area. We have a few like this, they won't go away... :'(

Bone, that thing is awesome! The cabin I hunted out of when I was a kid had a big slick two point, and I thought it was the coolest mount of the bunch. Have liked them ever since. But that one wasn't anywhere close to this big. Again, just awesome.

Ohhh, so funny. :chuckle: Probably what the entiat will look like in a few years...ohhh, not so funny. :(

He was a big TWO. I'm actually surprised he would survive general season in the Methow. Maybe he didn't the next year.
-
no doubt that is a huge forked horn. How wide is he. Looks like good mass also.
-
I'll have to get out there with a tape and get you guys some measurements.
-
100 inch 2 point go figure. Only you would have something like that. :chuckle:
-
that thing is bigger than 100" I will tell you that!
-
The ears look good. How did you end up fixing them?
-
Little ear surgery. The liner was too large for the ear. It made a big gap behind the ear and liner. I split the ear, and glued the ear to the liner. I then filled the gap with epoxy sculpt. I then transplanted hair to the big spots where therewasn't any or the epoxy sculpt was obvious. Then a new pain job.
