Does anybody know any shops from Seattle North that have either the Omen or Destroyer ( or both). I want to go shoot them to see how they feel. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: The Nock Point does not carry bowtech and does not have an Omen in stock.

Wilderness archery in bow is a bowtech dealer. Riverside in mount Vernon might have the pseud not sure on that.

Drive a couple hours south to XXX archery in Rainier,Oregon(across the bridge from Longview,WA),they have both! :drool:Once you shoot the destroyer your done for, imo. The pse axe is another I would shoot, heck of a bow for less money, but the destroyer is nice!!! shop is closed sundays, and mondays(i think).

"Once you shoot the destroyer your done for" is that because the string got him? :chuckle: :P
i love pse bows have never let me down! i like the omen very much but both the omen and the destroyer have a little to short of brace hight for my liking i don't mind it at all and at 366 i can put up with it because it does not cause any problems when i shoot but i just like the little longer brace's like my x force :IBCOOL: which at 83lbs kicks them out at about 340-343 :IBCOOL: but of the 2 i would buy the omen from the shooting i have done with both of them and if i was not a speed freak "which i am not" i love the pse axe very soild bow! happy shooting :IBCOOL:

If you can find a shop that also carries Strother bows I would suggest shooting the SR71 also. I have read a lot of great reviews on all 3 of those bows.
I own the Destroyer 340 and I would have no problem recommending it. Great shooting bow and very fast. But then again there are so many good bows out these days that a guy just has to go out and find what he likes.

in 2009 I bought a Hoyt Alpha Max 32. I LOVE my bow for many reasons. That being said after shooting the Destroyer 340 I wish I would have waited a year and bought the Destroyer. The Destroyer 340 is as smooth and forgiving as my AM32 and as torque free. But the D340 has less hand shock, is quieter and shoots 20 GPS faster than my AM32. like someone said once you shoot the Destroyer your done for.

I've heard about some of the bowtechs new flex roller gaurd breaking and bowtech doesn't have the best record on limbs. I go to a lot of shoots and have seen more bowtechs leave the course broken. I have shot the destroyer and It feels like a good shooter. I have not shot any of the new PSE bows
-
True I forgot about that. That is one thing I love about my Hoyt AM32. I know that the limbs or cams wont bust. The Destroyer is an awsome bow and Bowtech from what I understand has an AWSOME warranty. :chuckle:
-
I have heard that hoyt has had some limb problems this year. there taking care of it .
-
Every manufacturer is going to have a small percentage of failures. If you read the general forum over on AT you will find posts where just about every bow model out has had some kind of problem.
-
Just wanted to point out that the roller guards that were breaking on the destroyers were because people were tightening them down all the way. Its meant to be tightened half way or so. It acts like a bow limb and is flexible but if you tighten it all the way down and shoot a lot it can cause failure.

Well go up to see Roger at WIlderness acrhery in Bow, Wa just off I5.. he has the destroyer, he also has Strothers, and he also is now a dealer for the Maitland bowline. I have shot all 3.... I loved the destrpyer until I shot the SR71... but then I shot the Maitland Retribution.... oh and I shot it tonight again.... If I was to buy anything with wheels again... it would be that bow. WIthout a doubt the smoothest, quietest and dead in the hand bow I have shot. I had an 09 Captain, and a 08 Commander... the Commander was... was the best compound I had ever shot.
-
There's an archery shop in Everett that carries the Destroyer. I picked up the 350. It is a good bow.

Here's a couple of links that Outdoor Life did for their Bow Reviews. They both shoot the same speed. The PSE is slightly quiter (by 3dBA) but the Bowtech has literally half the vibration that the PSE does. The Bowtech had 42.85 m/s2 of vibe and the PSE had 85.51 m/s2 of vibe.
