I have a chance to buy a nearly new tc black diamond, not the xr from a buddy of mine. I was with him for every round that has been run thru it. 15 rounds max. he is having a rough time finacially and is asking me if I would buy it. whats it worth? I already hunt with a black diamond xr so this would be a spare gun for me and a chance to keep the power on one more month for him.

it depends need a little more info is it 50cal? blue and black or stainless and camo? what color is it? and i can give you a better idea. but since it is not the xr the blue and black new was about250-300.00 last time i saw them but since they are not made anymore i will try to find one in a auction to give you a better idea. but in very good used shape i would say 175-200 add 20-30 for stainless camo

sorry, 50 cal black on black. thanks guys, this gives me a range. I'll probably give him $200.00. 150 for the gun and 50 just to help him out.

I was going to say. Give the guy a fair price. Don't try and screw him over. Sounds like your helping him out. 200 sounds like a fair price on a gun that has only been shot a hand full of times.
-
ya i think 200 is a good price for both of you

snag it then sell it back to him when he gets back on his feet...thats what I would do...
-
Buy it from him and loan it to him for hunting season. :)

he has owned it for 7-8 years and has only shot it once. I think I'll snag it and keep it. whats one more gun in the safe. maybe getting close to needing new safe. oh darn, new safe, more room, need to fill it. I like this scenario.

he called today. he wants $150.00 for it. he came up with the price so I'm not gonna argue.
