Post by: shanevg on August 13, 2010, 06:07:46 PM: I got a bear a couple years ago on a hundred degree day. As long as you don't take your time butchering you should still be fine. We carried some garbage bags with us and out the quarters in the bags and dipped them in a stream on the way out. The meat was cold to thte touch when we got to the butcher.
