Does WDFW release pheasants anywhere on the westside anymore? I have been out of hunting for the better part of ten years, but they used to release at least somewhere in the 505 (Mossyrock) Unit. I know that it is a tough go for birds here, but there are still a few pheasants I see now and then. Any info is appreciated.

Yes they do. The license is now $90. All the information you need you should be able to find here:

the samish island release site is gonna have pheaseants.... (northwest of conway) i hear the release the birds at 7, and start the hunt at 8 and the birds are gone by noon, in the oven by 4. was out there last week, fields are all wheat... still not quite ready for harvest... the samish is a better place for duck than pheasant, but they are gonna be there...
