Sorry, can't help ya'.... :chuckle:
You may want to post this in the classifieds here.... That savage is hard to come by. I am on the continual lookout for a savage 22mag/410 combo....in the older version with the barrels soldered together like my 22lr/20 in the pic...

There is one on Gun Broker:

I hade the same model growing up. Great squirrel and grouse gun. Was thinking of picking up another one

While its been brought up I'm on the look out for a 24-V in .222rem over 12ga
Right now I take a shotgun grouse hunting and leave a rifle in the truck for yote hunting after I shoot my limit of grouse.

i have seen the ones on gun broker, but am very hesitant to pay money for something that old, and not be able to handle it first... id like to deal locally... then again im not sure how it works-i wonder if you can return it if you dont like it... still...

I want the rifle in a varmint cartridge and the shotgun in 12ga. but 20ga. would be fine.

I have a 24p....22LR over 20 gauge...
:dunno:
Make me an offer?
I need a hand gun.......
-
Turkeybuster, I was smiling cause that was a triple I got at one spot. 20 gauge, then 22lr...then 20 gauge...Could have shot more.... My son took the pic and he was not hunting age yet so we only got those three... Damn fun trip, next day got three more. :IBCOOL:

I would be smiling to iceman great job

Did anybody else make a rifle/shotgun combo?
-
the russians made one. its called the Sever made by Baikal.... good luck getting one imported... i think european/american armory was doing it, but something happened a while back and they are now impossible to get into the us... if you can find a used one, i think it comes in about as many caliber combos as flavors as icecream.... but its ugly as hell in my honnest oppinion.... i know the germans went ape$#!^ with the combo gun theory, they even made guns that were under over shotguns, with a rimfire on one side, and a centerfire on the other, 4 barrels total... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combination_gun (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combination_gun) check it out...
when it comes down to it however, the greatest combo gun ever: the Lematt
oh well if i get desperate, i can always use mossy oak pattern duct tape to attatch my ruger 10/22 to my benelli nova- even if its not accurate a 25 round bananna clip and a 12ga under it should do the trick... :yike:
-
Also CZ-USA makes some, it's called the Brno Combo, check their website, they are .243/.308/30-06 with a 12Ga.
-
I just picked up a Savage 24 V in 223 over 20ga, have it in getting as trigger job. It'll be getting a workout on coyotes this season, Fitted it with a Weaver V-3 should be good for fur or feather.

Nice. Mine is a bit sloppy in the firing mechanism, have replaced parts ...and not much better.... Sometime I will throw some money at it and do it right... Love that shotty.
