Sad state of affairs in this country for sure. Off the top of my head all I have is the Filson Company, I thought they were still all US made.....

I'm pretty sure Sleeping Indian Designs is made in America.  They're out of Wyoming.  http://www.woolcamo.com/ (http://www.woolcamo.com/)
Their stuff is expensive, but everything I've heard about is once you buy it, you won't ever have to buy it again.

Filson is some of the best stuff you could buy.   The wool is quiet, warm and flexible.  I have no complaints on their gear and have been using it for years.  No camouflage patterns though if that is what you are looking for.

Filson does have some camo pattern stuff in canvas or tin cloth I think. They had some in wool. Since the new owners bought they dropped the wool camo and I think they have gone out of the USA for some of the stuff.

I tried some Sleeping Indian stuff and was not impressed not even considering the high cost.
There is another maker back east that is very expensive. I think they weave kevlar with wool.

Several years ago, when Pendleton Mills back east burned down, the owner paid everyone their wages while the factory was rebuilt.  Always like supporting a company like that.

You heard right.  I have some Sleeping Indian that still looks brand new after 15 years.  King of the Mountain is probably a tad better but it's splitting hairs IMO.

I've been eyeballin the Russell stuff.  It seems like good gear and is a lot easier on the pocket.

Better check again, partner.  Besides blankets, scarfs, gloves and some hats, they are not made in the US anymore.  I've been collecting it for a while now...

Is that King of the Mountain stuff made in the USA?  Of course, you'll have to sell your wife and children to buy it.  I'm pretty sure that's not legal in this state...but you might want to check because I hear that the gear is pretty nice.

Snikey's, I am one of those that really try to buy American when I can but that King of the Mountain stuff is way above what I can afford.   :(
