-
Beaver! :P

cougar..... everytime one of my boss's cat hunters gets one and doesnt want it,, we end up getting it....the best, much like pork... think the old indians and mt men preferred cat.
-
I put elk but really like antelope.
-
Grain Fed mulies!
-
elk
-
Sorry. have to change my mind. my number one pick is a huge platter of fried squirrel like i grew up on in arkansas. fried fox squirrels got pretty big and when fried in real spicy batter, they came out like a million bucks. a platter of this, a plate of hot bisquits and a bowl of good white gravy was a great reward for taking the time to go hunt Mr Bushytail.

Thought you got uptight about stereotyping??? Just what I noticed in previous heated threads.

elk definetly tastes the best to me!! get some of those nice back straps grilled on the barbeque nothin like it!! I will agree with red dawg, if it's a big old wilderness bull it may be a little tough to eat. But for the most part, its good stuff!!

My vote goes to elk, I have never tried bear, but have heard mixed opinions of how it tastes. I heard moose is good too, but you can't go wrong if you shoot a grain fed muley or whitey either.
-
I think I am with poalrbear, though like with any other wild game there is good beaver and bad beaver.
-
Good point. :dunno:

It all tastes good just some tastes better than others. kinda like pizza.
-
Surprising not to see more votes for whitetail. Every one I've harvested has been great, much better than the blacktail and muleys I've harvested, while elk seems really dry to me.
-
:dunno:
Can't decide. Have had some great ones, and not so great. Always tastes better than store bought meat.
Much more enjoyable too!!
-
Couldn't really decide....
Elk meat in general is best! Voted bear only because of the breakfast sausage we got last season. Can't stop eating it. Wouldn't turn down any of them!
