and why. mine is a bowtech admril
-
pse x force. the best bow i have ever owned. i have owned a lot of bows and shot a ton more.with the speed of my bow and the quality of it. i could not be more please with it. hunted with it on a couple of continents as well and has never let me down. also consider the weight i am pulling at 83 lbs it is very smooth for that much weight. pretty light weight bow bare as well.
-
2005 Bowtech Liberty. it is the one i currently own and though i have tried others, i still like it the best. its helped me take more deer than i can remember and for the last 5 years it has never let me down. i have used it to harvest 2 turkeys and i hope for many more years out of it :)

I will stick with my Martin Pentera. Has a 31" draw length. Hoyt has some bows that do, but they cost too much.
-
Bowtech Destroyer 350. It's a great shooting bow.
-
I love my Hoyt Alpha Max 32. But if given the opportunity I'd trade for a Hoyt Maxxis 31 in a heartbeat.
-
Gotta go with my Mathews Reezen.....smooth shooting bow and very fast.
-
Mathews z7
I'm kicking myself for missing out on it this year
-
I like the bowtech Allegiance. I have shot lots of other bows and still cant seem to get rid of my Allegiance. it is a 2006. I had a 2009 82nd airborne but didn't like it.

Mathews z7
-
Mathews Q2 :)
-
I'm impressed with the strother's line up
-
I'd just take the Hoyt Carbon Matrix... prolly the best bow out... but if not, i'd take the Maxxis 35...
-
I am very pleased with my Bowtech Guardian, has put a couple animules in the freezer for me just fine. But after owning quite a few bows over the last 15 years, I still haven't found one that truly outshines a Mathews MQ1. Yes some of the newer bows do this thing or that thing better, but none truly are head and shoulders above it.
-
Thats an easy decision for me...
-
I have a bow here my dad bought me as a gift for graduating from the police academy in Idaho.I have no idea what it is,but ive taken several animals with it and never had the tuning and other problems with it that I hear folks have all the time.It has small cams,And I think it was kicking out there at 250 or a little better at 70lbs,been awhile..Hey that was fast at the time :chuckle:None of the pro shops have been able to tell me what it is..I was thinking a darton..Dad had it all camoed up and zero paper work on it..... :bash:If I wasnt thinking of going back to a long bow I would try to set it back up again
-
Mathews of some type
-
Another Mathews Z7 fan here. Very smooth and quiet. I went from pulling 55 lbs on my old bow to 60 on the Z7 and couldn't even tell the difference.
-
Mathews drenalin is what I have.
-
I'm a hoyt shooter and this was the first year since 05 I didn't get a new one. Out of the last few years I think I would choose my katera over all of them
-
I shot Hoyt for 10 years, killed lots of stuff with it...just switched to Mathews last year, been happy with it so far. I'd go with either one, both great bows...
-
from my exp bowtechs are really solid bows, i just bought a limbsaver however and i havnt shot a bow that beats it :twocents:
-
Hoyt alpha max! Waiting to move up from the trusty nail driving Trykon XL
-
Top 5 are all proven well. Nothing wrong with any of them. It comes down to what you are most comfortable with.
-
My Mathews Switchback that was stolen... :)
-
Mathews
-
My Mathews Switchback I love. But if I could afford the Z7 I would buy it and never buy another. I have shot all the new lines every year the last five and have never shot a nicer bow!
-
After this season im going to sell my Mathews Lx and get a Z7 or an adrenaline
-
If any of you want to try something not so main stream you should test drive a Maitland. 2011 models will have 2 options for cams. One IBO's at 318 the other 340. The bows will compete with anyother on the market and outperform them. Smooth, quiet, shock free and forgiving. 3 sizes to choose from. 38", 34" and 31" axle to axle. 27"-32" draw and 7"+ brace height. Just some food for thought. It is hard to find a bad bow these days.

Mathews Monster XLR8
-
Mathews z7
I'm kicking myself for missing out on it this year
I will be selling mine when I return home in March. Shot it a little bit and had to come back over. It has a 28" draw 60lb. Keep me in mind around then. Will sell for $500 No accesories.
-
hoyt carbon matrix 35 if cost wasn't an issue . I really am impressed with the g5 primal aswell . not a mathews guy but the monster is impressive.
-
Mathews Monster XLR8
o my what a bad bow to choose, noisy, vibrates like crazy yes its fast. i dont know how mathews expected to get a smooth bow out of a 5in brace height. but to each his own that is just my opinion. my choise would be a maxxis 35 even though i shot a bowtech destory 340. i just like the way the feel in your hand well balanced, quiet, and still pretty fast. only bad thing is they are a little on the heavy side.
-
shot almost all the bows and must say that the hoyt carbon element is the best bow out there bar none! Its definitely the smoothest and the lightest. If your draw lenght is over 30" though you should go with the matrix. 8)
-
I shoot a Hoyt alphamax 32 and it is no slouch...but the single cam Matthews bows can not be beat :twocents:
I think you will get alot of people saying whatever there bow is or their favorite tv personality's bow or whatever the fastest bow is or the one with the coolest ad in their favorite magazine.
Go shoot a bunch of high end bows...then try a single cam Matthews
-
I only have one compound bow..and that is the old hoyt my brother no longer wanted, that I gladly took. It has treated me well....
-
Bowtech 101st Airborne
-
If I had to have training wheels... well it would be the Maitland Zeus. Hands down the smoothest and quietest bow out there, except for my sapphire hawk.
-
I have shot many different types and makes but I really like my new Bowtech Destroyer 350. Smooth, Fast, Quiet, No hand shock and did I mention it was Fast.
-
The best bow in the world, is my bow. :IBCOOL: 8) :P
