Title: Kellogg Lake Rd, near Sultan
Post by: h20hunter on September 07, 2010, 02:07:07 PM
So, waiting for the rain to slow down before hiking up into an area I have been hunting I drove down Kellogg Lake Road. Saw some gates with trucks. I have been seeing some sign and learning quite a bit about my one area but am curious if this area is worth exploring. Anyone care to share some basic information? Just curious about if there is much bear/deer/yotes or simply hunters walking around.

All of the above :chuckle:...just depends on the day and what gate/pullout you choose.  Get out and glass/hike.  Good luck :)

Some of those gated roads in the Sultan Basin have decent bears and the Port Blakely property is a good place to start. Even try up in those clear cuts by Reiter Pit area. Not alot of berries out there so you may have to cover some ground.
