Been looking the regs and can't find anything....is it legal to bait deer and elk (ie salt licks, COB) during hunting season??? I know the reg says you can't bait bears...but I find nothing for deer and elk.
Gonna post same question is Elk section.

Perfectly legal to bait everything but Bear, Turkey, and waterfowl.

As was said in earlier post,,, Yes you can bait deer, elk, and cougars.. If you bait cougars, make sure you DO NOT have your bear tag with you..Leave it at home.

It is against STATE AND FEDERAL LAW to bait waterfowl!!!!
It is also illegal under state law to bait ANY game birds, such as grouse or pheasant!!
