Looking for a good bow shop in Spokane? Thanks!
-
There aren't many pro shops in the area. I use Spokane Valley Archery Hoyt/Mathews/Elite/Martin. I believe there is one in Deer Park that primarily carries PSE and one in Chewelah. Your other options are the box stores Cabelas/Wholesale Sports.

Fred, I very good luck with Whitetail Plus in Deer Park. It was worth the drive. Very knowledgable guys.
-
Another vote for Whitetail Plus. Great Service!
-
camo'd arrow in chewelah is where i did all my business very knowledgeable and honest RED is her name cant go wrong. good luck

If you do go to Wholesale Sports ask for Allen. He is a great guy and owned his own bow shop back in the day. He does very good work..
-
Or ask for Tony @Wholesale Sports. He owned Kodiak Archery in Otis Orchards. Also very knowledgeable.
-
My opinion, stay away from the one in Deer Park. :twocents:

Thanks guys!! I appreciate the information, not very happy with the SVA shop and was hoping to look elsewhere.

:yeah:

Fred, I think you'll find it real hard to get good service as a traditional shooter... best thing to do is to "DIY"... if you have any questions or need help with anything, let me know...

Spokane Valley Archery, Mark is the owner; unless his son has taken the reigns. Mark was a traditional guy, he is very knowledgeable. Other than fuel it is always free to go and talk to him. They do classes and one on one instruction. I don't spend as much time out there as I used to, so not sure the way it runs now but give them a call and pick the brain a little.

:yeah: and if you don't want to drive to Deer Park go to the General Store in Spokane, the guys know their stuff too!!

I learned the same thing several years ago.

The Camod Arrow just a couple miles north of Chewelah on Hwy 395 is very good. Red will set you up right and is reasonable too.

I just got my bow last year and bought it at wholesale sports in the valley mall. They were helpful and didnt seem like they were out to gouge me. they have my vote.

for trad gear, there's also a shop in CDA on 95 by the name of NW pony express. pretty much all trad gear and the fella there SEEMED pretty knowledgeable. other than that, Whitetail Plus or the Camo'd arrow would be great bets.

Spokane valley archery probably has the most knowledgable staff. They could probably work on their people skills a little though. Wholesale sports would be my second choice. Cabelas a distant third.
