I've been watching 3 bucks all summer for muzzleloader season. Two four points and a three point that is right at 30 inches wide. Someone else must have been watching them too, because there are three dead bucks within a half a mile of each other right in the area. They didn't even bother taking the whole head, just sawed off the horns, leaving about 1 to 2 inches of antler still on the deer. I'll put some pictures up of it later. Pretty damn pathetic!
-
Have you reported this?
-
The other people that found them before I did reported it. I was going to call this morning and let them know I have a bunch of pictures of the bucks alive. Just incase the want to use them to know what they are looking for.
-
Did they take the meat?
-
They just cut the horns off above the antlers burr's?
-
That is an abomination, hope they catch em and drag to jail by their short and curlys.
-
Where at?
-
Just plain dissrespectful, hope they catch these ****ers

>:( >:(why the hell!!!!!!!!!!!! that $hit pisses all off I hope I catch 1 someday I will give them years of pent up anger
-
They shouldnt fine poachers....
Turn them over to us (fellow hunters), we'll see how long the issue continues ;)
-
>:( Cant stand that chit
-
sad state of affairs
-
Horrible..
-
The best or I should say worst part is if the local media picks it up it will say HUNTERS poached these animals instead of Criminals poached these animals. :bash:
No kidding. Plus WTF is with just taking the antlers and not even the meat? Not that I'm condoning poaching but its not like regular antlers are like rhino ivory in terms of black market costs or such to illegal shoot an animal just for them alone.
-
hang em by their sack and take turns using them as pinata's!!! >:(
-
Here are a couple pictures of the one that was right of the side off the road. The Other two were pretty much the same. They are in Douglas County for whoever it was that asked. Pretty Sad!!!
-
Boy does this piss me off. >:( Total f-ing waste of everything, plus careless attitude about laws. I look forward to the day when a couple of poachers mistakenly raise a gun at me or someone like me....because they arent going to be going home that day.
-
Unfrickingbelievable

Tell me about it! I have been out watching and videoing these bucks all summer. One was a really nice one, upper 20's and possibly 30 inches wide. I have no way of knowing if it was him for sure, but it was within about 300 yards of the last place I had seen him the week before. I've been planning on being there opening morning of muzzleloader season all summer. I'd give anything to have whoever did it get caught. Keep in mind there was three bucks just like this within a mile of each other.
-
I'm a mellow guy and don't get mad that often, but that REALLY pisses me off. Damn that sucks.
-
>:( what ass clowns :bash: sould be easy to find if they get any suspects. i have never seen horns cut like that. most take the whole top of the skull.
-
>:( that sucks not road kill? the bucks had bullets in them
-
Just to re-ierate.... :bash: :bash: :bash:
dang....find them and get a rope.... :bash:

must be some one from the area , maybe someone youv'e even spoke too . keep the preasure on and someone may pop. how is the state going to effectivly manage our herds with this kinda bs going on . I see way to many trucks comming out of the hills way to late at night not during hunting season it dosn't add up. mmmmmffffffffffeeeerrrrrrr's.
-
Poaching keeps it interesting quit being such Pollyanna's fellas... :P
-
Definately not road kill. The one the pictures are of was shot right up the ass. It was on a cut off road between two green wheat fields. The other two were dropped right beside each other about 150 yards off a road, while they were in the field. My buddy who knew I had been watching them all summer talked to the game warden and he said they were shot with a big rifle. I don't really know all the details of who found them first or anything, but when you drove up there it was pretty obvious with all the magpies and coyotes.
-
looks like you wasted a summer scouting :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:
-
Yeah, no kidding man! It looks like I did waste a lot of time this summer. CoachCW, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was a local.
-
wow....what a waste.

:puke: :puke: :puke: :yike: EF' ing pieces of fecal matter :nono:

what a waste :'(

That is the trouble with the place I hunt. Too many local poachers! "i got a 6, now im looking for a 5". We went grouse hunting 2 weeks ago and some locals come down a logging road at dusk, guy in the bed of the truck, gun drawn, looking for deer. It is also common for people (not hunters!) with a doe tag in 101, shoot one in 204 (without getting out of the truck) and report that they took it in 101. Or shoot a muley doe, on "accidant" and process it before anyone "notices". I work my ass off to fill my freezer, with pleasure! I cant hardly stand the greed and abuse!
-
local guys, young guys, IMO >:(
-
I don't understand.
-
I'd like to see the poacher or poacher's on a dead end logging road in my neck of the wood's ;) Don't worry about WDFW >:(
-
Nothing lower than a poacher!!! Bastrds!!!!!!
-
:bash: :bash: what a bunch of morons!! >:( >:( :beatdeadhorse: :mor:

I hate hearing about poachers but I really hate hearing about poacher in the county that I live in and watch deer in all year. Verbeckhunter I am sorry to here about this, same thing happen to me 3 years ago in a nether part of Douglas County and what is weird they did the same thing with the horns but the did take the back straps and the hind quarters. These guys need to be taken out in a green wheat field a shot up the back in and left for the ravens and coyote to be eaten on >:( >:(. Sorry but I had to let some steam off.

thats just disheartning, i hate to see that. what the hell is wrong with people? cutting the horns off like that, probly just gonna end up on the top of a wood pile collecting spider webs! absoluty sad and pathetic! its those types that make hunters who follow the rules have a bad name. sad to see >:(
-
What a sad deal. If they took the meat, I wouldn't be so wound up about it, but to waste it to boot. I hope they end up on the receiving end of a serious ordeal!
-
WTF >:( What a waste :'(
