B&C Official Measurer, Kevin Vaughn sent in this photo a a ram reported to have been taken near Asotin, WA with a green score close to 200. He has concluded that the ram, with an Idaho tracking collar must have swam the Snake River to cross into Washington State. The Snake is the dividing line between states and both sides of the river hold sheep populations.
Ram has 17+ bases, 43+ horn lengths and was aged at 11 years.

That's a big ram. Correct me if I'm wrong but the rams around asotin considered Rocky mountian bighorns ...not California bighorns....right? Does'nt make a $hit bit of difference to me. Just thought I'd ask
-
Wow what a hog!
MS
-
Yup, that's a Rocky, and an ugly sumbitch to boot.
-
That is one nice RAM. Congrats to the tag holder. Maybe the story of a lifetime hunt will come. PB

WOW, congrats... There are some big rams dropping this year!!
-
Well between this ram and the Swakane ram, my odds of ever drawiong a tag REALLY took a turn for the worse. Congrats to all the successful sheep hunters this Fall. Quite a year for the bighorn in this State!
-
It's about time I saw a pic of this ram. Living here in Asotin County I had heard that the tag holder here had dropped a brute of a ram. Man, I see them down here all the time but I don't think I've seen this beast before!

It is above the record green from what I here, but it wont be after the drying period. State record is 198 and 1/8 I believe and this ram is 200 green.
