Title: Youth opener (updated pics)
Post by: Antlerking on September 23, 2010, 07:05:10 PM
Get them kids out there and get after it. Its a good oportunity for the yungsters to knock down some young and dum birds before they get educated. We will be taking a group up north by pateros on the columbia. The water level in the potholes is very low this time of year and is kinds dif. to get the kids out there, but there is some good hunting if you can find the water the birds are working.

Well the kids had fun building a blind in the morning and getting the experiance of waiting for birds. We manage to trick 1 discolored drake into the spread. With the 80 degree day, skiiers, and wake boarders, I guess thats not to bad. We did manage to fix up the hunting cabin a little, it was looking kinda shadey
