Title: rattlesnakes!!!
Post by: madcow41 on September 27, 2010, 09:24:24 PM: I ran into one the other day. he woulda been in my chillie if i had known if they were legal or not to take. i couldnt find anything in the regulations does anyone know the rules?

also does anyone know were the rattlers like to hang out?

Shoot them, skin em,gut em, put em on ice, cook in hot olive oil with some garlic and wine, enjoy.

well this one liked hangin out on my front porch so much that he gave me a friendly bite to the ankle. i didnt find him welcome and gave him a taste of .38 snake shot

Post by: firecrotch on October 03, 2010, 02:14:51 PM: well guys i figured i would let it go for a little while, but this is a texas diamondback. and a huge one at that. i was on the phone with CoryTDF walking up to my front door, when i felt a hard smack on the side of my boot. it was dark outside and didnt think much of it but flipped my phone over as a light and saw that snake coiled up. i about filled my pants. well i shot him and then checked my leg. on my white's boots you can see two fang marks. and on one of them you can see daylight throught the hole. i dont know how i lucked out not getting bit

well if you know a way of having it shipped frozen i can send you that snake. its in my freezer
